The gypsy caravan is one of my teasures, it once belonged to Jean Kent, actress of the 1940's/50's.
Big Ears needs some strings but seems happy enough without, and Pinocchio stays with me in the shop. Muffin hanging up, also stays here with me. You can see the old easel used for hanging the puppets to photograph, not always an easy task when they decide to be a bit awkward. I often need two pairs of hands.
Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas!
Here are a few snaps of the shop stock room! It's pretty full at the moment, there's quite a lot more not shown in the photos which needs sorting out. Much of the stock is on the site but there is a lot that isn't yet photographed and added to the pages.
I'm Imogen from Norfolk, U.K. I have a love of interesting colourful vintage items, especially from the 1950's. Pelham Puppets are one of my strongest collecting areas. There is nowhere to buy vintage Pelham Puppets other than through internet auction sites and auction houses and I felt there was room for somebody to open a shop.
