OFFERS FOR.......Walt Disney character Wart from 'Sword and the Stone' 1963 film. He is a very rarely seen character. Please see images closely as he has some damage.
He has a very good face with no damage and no neck cracks. He would benefit from being cleaned gently.
The trousers have moth damage as seen, typical of this character. The sweater has also got some minor moth damage. The pouch, however is very good, this is sometimes a replacement but this one is original. The felt bootees are good with very tiny moth damage barely noticeable.
The screw eyes are rusted at the wrists.
The fur hair is aged which means it may shed. At the moment it is full but I can see that it is damaged.
Original box is shelf worn but retains the Walt Disney sticker and name stamp at the end which has been overwritten.
( It would be possible to remove his hair with heat to soften the animal/hide glue, hair from a good Hansel of the period could be used to replace with the same type and colour. Hansel is not a difficult puppet to find and if damaged would make a good puppet for spares, I have several in stock unlisted if required )
