Hank the Cowboy was written by Francis Coudrill's for Whirligig, a children's TV programme that started in the 1950s.
This is a rarely seen lead figure of Hank with his horse Silver King made by Sacul, England. The Sacul name was discontinued in 1954.
He is wearing blue trousers with gun belt, red shirt, blue neck scarf and brown cowboy hat. He can stand independently but is designed to sit astride his horse, Silver King.
Both lead figures are in excellent condition, usually these have much more paint loss than this one and can suffer cracks too. See images for close up views.
England is impressed on the underneath of the Silver King.
Size is approx 3" x 3"
