TYPE LS ZUMBO
Type LS Zumbo the Zulu Chieftain from early 1950's.
He is one of the rarer LS puppets to find.
The difference between Mumbo, his wife, is the stole and the face paint. Zumbo has war paint on his cheeks.
The fur stole is usually white and brown, sometimes plain brown. He doesn't wear earrings but has ankle rings.
He is in very good condition.
The raffia skirt is beautifully brightly coloured and the pieces are full and thick.
He has real fur hair and the stole which are both in good condition, full and non shedding.
This version has composition hands and bamboo limbs, the brown paint has adhered well with only paint loss.
The nose does have some minor paint loss barely seen.
The original box is name stamped one end and is in used condition with the paper label torn.
